what is the best/healthiest colon cleanser?

I know this is a disgusting question but I read an article about John Wayne and that when he died he had 40 LBS of waste in his colon. I read that had he cleansed his colon he would have rid his body of that waste and possibly lived 10 years longer than he had. WOW thats a lot of waste. So I want to know whats the healthiest way to get all that waste out. I heard from a friend that they have some pills at walmart that do that but I don’t know if they are safe, healthy or anything. I want a complete colon cleanes. I heard after some people have done this that they have felt much better. So if you know of something please let me know. Thanks

This John Wayne story is a myth. In fact, no autopsy was ever performed on him.

Colon cleansing in general is a dubious practice. A decent, healthy diet will prevent build-up of matter in the colon (fiber, as was mentioned already). Your body naturally gets rid of all that stuff. Anyone who is telling you different is probably trying to sell you something.
