Colon Cleanse Before And After

What should I do about my pain?

I’ve had moderate to severe constipation for two weeks now. The only time that I have been able to “go” was when I first got my period and if I did a colon cleanse, which I’ve done three times. I have been drinking tons of water and eating mostly foods high in fiber. Yesterday, due to the colon cleanse, I passed several large stools. I don’t know if I’m still constipated now, but I don’t feel an urge to go.

Anyway, along with the constipation, I’ve developed lower back pain (primarily on my left side), and it won’t go away. The pain is now radiating down my leg. I get cramping in my left buttocks and my left leg feels weak.

It baffles me that, after passing several stools, I’d still have this back pain. Before I go to the doctor, what do you think this is and what can I do about it? Advil only causes constipation and doesn’t relieve the pain anyway. I’ve done stretching, and that doesn’t help either.
