Does anyone have information on the diet of olive oil?

I had some trouble getting the last out of pounds after having a 8 month old baby. I was breastfeeding and that helped a lot, but then let the weight a month ago has been there. I've heard of the oil diet olive takes a swig of olive oil each morning for breakfast with a piece of fruit and helps you lose weight. I'm assuming that helps reduce anxiety and hunger. Does anyone have some information (pros / cons) or experiences with the olive oil diet. I want to do something natural. Also the olive oil help clean my body (as a cleansing colon)?
