Questions about Colon Cleansing… what if you take medications like…?
I’m currently taking a prescription “Effexor XR” and thinking about colon cleanse to remove some weight, but, I don’t want it to effect my medication or would it?
Your best (and safest) bet would be to ask a pharmacist if there are any interactions listed between the drugs and supplements you’re taking. Doctors and pharmacists both have access to a database of drug and supplement interactions and they can tell you quickly if you can safely take them together or not…. anyone here will just have a best guess from searching on the internet (which isn’t always accurate, as we all know) 
Also, as a side note, colon cleanses don’t really make you lose much weight. Yeah, you evacuate what is in your colon and that could potentially be a few pounds of fecal matter, but you’ll replenish that within a few days of eating. When your colon and intestines are cleaner, your body is able to process nutrients more efficiently, so you can help keep weight off a little more efficiently after a cleanse, but you wouldn’t lose much weight long term from that without keeping a healthy diet and exercise regimen.
