Can I take a colon cleanse pill while pregnant?

I am 9 week pregnant and sorry for tmi but have not had a good bowel movement the past two days. It’s making me feel terrible. I have some natural colon cleanse pill that just help keep you regular but I wasn’t sure if it was okay to take them while pregnant. I did not have this problem with my first child. Nice answers please! (:

I definitely recommend seeking the advice of your doctor/midwife or their nurse before taking any medicine whether its natural or not a lot of natural stuff is just as harmful to us even when not pregnant b but more so when we are and we aren’t even aware of it because we assume natural means healthy!!! I would increase your water intake that usually helps and you said you are eating good, so if you are truly uncomfortable I would definitely ask my doctor/midwife for some remedies to ease the discomfort! No matter what you hear on here though, I would definitely check with my doctor first when it comes to your health and especially that of your baby, I wouldn’t take any chances.
