cleaning out the toxins?

okay so my aunty asked me to look up these web sites for her and find out what she needs to do a complete colon cleanse. i have gone to at least five of these web sites and all say to buy there cleanse programs.

now my question is does she need to buy these programs (very expensive programs) in order to get the best results or is there some herbs and organic food that will do the same and get the same result without spending so much money?

You’re best bet is to get a consult with a naturopath (ND) and go from there. Take a look in the telephone book. I’ve heard a lot of people have great results from proper diet, with occasional colon cleansing in cases of intestinal disorders like IBS.

However.. I’m not convinced that the therapeutic benefits are there. Of course, there aren’t going to be any real studies on the subject because nobody is going to pay for it. The best bet is to modify the diet, and if that doesn’t work go ahead and try the cleansing. There really isn’t any risk unless there is an underlying medical condition or if it is done incorrectly.

So, the answer.. Modify the diet, then consult a naturopath for cleansing options. Best of luck to you.
